Verna Marie Hassler Mrs

Verna Schmidt Hassler, age 89, of Lawrenceville, GA, Blue Ridge, GA and Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away, Tuesday, September 04, 2014. Mrs. Hassler was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Schmidt and Margaret Caseldine; husband, Ben Hassler; and brother, William F. Schmidt. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Wehunt (Carl McClendon); daughter, Carol Wade (Dan); son, Ted Hassler (Mary); and son, Matt Hassler; sister, Doris Markland; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. No services will be held in Georgia. A graveside service in Cincinnati will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations, in memory of Verna, be made to Embracing Hospice in Snellville, GA.
