Verna Ellen Peitson

Verna Ellen Peitso, age 95, of Monroe, Georgia passed away 11-16-12. She was a resident of Park Place Nursing Facility in Monroe since November 2004, receiving loving care and surrounded by many friends. She was a long time member of the Hapeville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard J. Peitso, son Roger K. Peitso, brothers Bert and Clarence Kortes. Verna is survived by son Gene L. Peitso and wife A. Jann Peitso Gatlinburg, TN; grandchildren Teri Peitso Holbrook, husband William "Bill" Holbrook Monroe, GA; Erin Peitso Alpharetta, GA; Laura Peitso Stallins, husband Rev. Monty Stallins Rome, GA; John Peitso and wife Jennifer Johnson Peitso Boston, MA; five great grandchildren, sisters Delores Kortes Anderson; June Kortes Lapine and husband Robert Lapine; several nieces and nephews.
