Vivian Emanuel Ricketts

Vivian Emanuel Ricketts, age 81, of Bronx, NY and Dacula, GA passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025. He was born on January 12, 1944 to Robert Rickets and Dorell Austin Ricketts in Colonels Ridge, Claredon, Jamaica W.I.

In 1970 Vivian migrated to the United States where he worked in the construction field until he retired. Vivian was a member of the Spitfire Domino Club that played in various tournaments in the USA, Canada, and Jamaica.

He is survived by his wife Pauline, children Richard, Steven and Chris, grandchildren: Rashaad, Adonijah; sisters Ivolen, Ruby, Sylvia; brother Samuel, and a host of nieces, nephews in the UK, Jamaica, and the USA. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert Rickett and Dorell Austin Ricketts; sisters Carmen, Daliah; brothers Jeff, Ricardo, Reginald, and a host of grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, and friends.

Despite the many challenges of life, Vivian enjoyed many victories and shared his strong-willed spirit with others along life’s journey on Earth.
