V.K. Sudhakaran Unni

Our beloved V.K. Sudhakaran Unni passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on December 18, 2021 in Marietta, Georgia, USA, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Nirmala, son Arun and daughter-in-law Anita, daughter Rekha and son-in-law Vijaykumar, son Sethu and daughter-in-law Sujatha, his grandchildren, Sharanya and her husband Joshua, Asha and her husband Vivek, Sanjay, Arjun, and Sunitha, and his great-grandson, Dev.

Sudhakaran was born on November 23, 1933 in Edathara, Kerala. Throughout his life, he was always known for his energy, humor, love for adventure, excitement, and compassion for others that he shared with all who knew him. We are so thankful for him and all of the memories we have shared with him, and will miss him dearly.

We are so blessed that in his final week and moments, our Achan/Achacha was surrounded by his loved ones and had happy, memorable moments with all. His final rites are scheduled at Wages & Sons, located at 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, GA 30046. The ritual will begin promptly at 10 AM on Tuesday, December 21, 2021.
