Wade Theuerkauf, a beloved husband and dear friend to many, passed into eternity February 28, 2013 at the age of 67. He was a graduate of Mentor High School in Ohio, obtained a bachelor's degree from Northwestern, and a Master's degree from Arkansas State. He flew KC 135's for the US Air Force during the Vietnam war, going to the "danger zone" several times, and surviving, to the joy of those of us who loved him. He had a very long career with Fairbanks Scales and won many awards throughout the 31 years for excellence and superior performance. He was honorable and professional in every way.
He will be missed desperately by his surviving wife, Lin M. Rima, as well as by his favorite "babies", Sabina, Sheba, Sophia and Sydney. He is also survived by cousins Dennis, Gwen and family in Cleveland Ohio, as well as Paul and Ulla Preising in California. As well as a great group of friends and colleagues, who knew him and loved him.
