Wah Sy Liu

Wah Sy Liu, born January 27th, 1963, passed away at the age of 62 at home surrounded by his loved ones on January 18th, 2026.

Immigrating to the US in 1980, he worked relentlessly to support all of his family. He has owned multiple restaurants amongst other business ventures; from home restorations and property rentals to owning and operating commercial buildings. He was also a major contributor to 2 home healthcare provider services. This is just a small glimpse into the few accomplishments of a man who was adept in business but also a humanitarian is his social consciousness.

Charismatic to the core, with a sly sense of humor, he was a man with many interests and of multiple talents. He could build a house and then cook you a 12-course dinner all in the same day. There were no problems too small and no tasks too daunting. He could solve all problems no matter how unconventional he needed to get. His spirit was unrelenting, but still able and willing to see the positive side of things.

Wah’s brain was sharper than any knife, and his heart was bigger than all the oceans combined. His generosity of heart meant always giving his best with a smile. Willing to give anything and everything to something he was working on to get the job done.

He is survived by his wife Lanney of 34 years, sons Maximillian, Alexander, and Bradley, 3 brothers; Khoa, Cong, and Dan and 5 sisters; Thin Mui, Quay Mui, Sui, Lin, and Kiu.

His light will be missed deeply by all who were blessed to cross his path and in his light.
