Walter H. Preston

PRESTON, Walter H., 88, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014 in Louisville, Kentucky. Walter was born to the late Walter A. and Viola Preston in Cedartown, Georgia. He worked as a quality control chemist for Pepsi Cola before his retirement. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy Pittman Preston; sons, Larry and Tommy Preston. Survivors include his son, Gueary Preston (Virginia); siblings, Evelyn, Jack, Jim, Helen, and Janice. Visitation for Walter will be Monday, November 10, 2014 from 9-11 a.m. at Wages and Sons Funeral Home, 1031 Lawrenceville, GA. Funeral services will be held Monday, at 11 a.m. at Wages & Sons Funeral Home Gwinnett Chapel with burial to follow at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery in Dacula, GA with Dr. Lamar Holley officiating.
