Wanda Stallings Lampela

Wanda Jean Stallings Lampela age 72 passed away on the 20th day of May in the year twenty twenty due to complications of a stroke. Wanda was born on March 9th 1948 in Griffin Georgia to Charles and Mary Coates Stallings. She graduated from Towers High school in 1966. She was part of the first graduating class in the newly built Towers High. After high school she went to work for Orkin pest control where she met her future husband Larry Lampela. Wanda loved life, she loved her crafts which included painting, drawing, crocheting, quilting, sewing and arranging flowers. She loved making gifts for her family and friends. Wanda also loved her online family. She would spend hours upon hours chatting with her online friends and playing her numerous computer games that she loved so much. She was proceeded in death by her loving husband of 48years Larry Lampela and her beloved cats Buster, Topper, Callie, Lady and Spec. She was survived by her parents Charles and Mary Coates Stallings, her son Chris, his wife Amy, her grandchildren Megan Lampela, Brock Lampela and one great granddaughter Adalynn Grace all of Huntsville AL. One brother Keith Stallings, niece Neela Stallings, Nephew Keeve Stallings and their wonder dog Zeke all of Georgia. As well as 2 brother n laws Randy and Lee and 2 sister in laws Karen and Kathryn. There will be a visitation at Wages and Sons on Sunday May 24, 200 from 2 PM until 4 PM allowing 10 people at a time to speak to the family
