William "Bill" Adams, Jr.

William “Bill” Louis Adams, Jr, age 94, of Tucker, Lawrenceville, and Bryson City, NC passed away Friday, November 27, 2015. During World War II, Bill proudly served his country in the Army Air Corp. He worked as a systems analyst with the U.S. Government for 33 years, and upon retirement he and his wife Ruth opened and ran the Randolph House Country Inn in Bryson City, NC for another 33 years. He was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church along with the Seekers class. Bill was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years whom he met at Young Harris College, Ruth Randolph Adams. He is survived by his son, Stephen Adams of Tucker, GA; daughter, Viki L. Jones & husband, Tim, of Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren, Lauren, Matthew and his wife, Sarah, Michael, Landon & Logan; great grandchildren, Ryker, Killian, Ella & Adelyn. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel with interment following at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Riverdale, Ga. Flowers are accepted, or you may consider a donation, in memory of Bill, to Footprints to the Future at Prospect United Methodist Church, 1549 Prospect Rd., Lawrenceville, GA 30043 or Young Harris College, 1 College St., Young Harris, GA 30582. The family will receive friends from 10:30-12:30 pm, Saturday, December 5, 2015 with light refreshments at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046, 770-277-4550.
