William "Bill" Apple Jr.

William Joseph Apple, Jr. went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 10, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Joseph Apple, Sr., and Margaret Jones Apple.

He is survived by his wife – the love of his life – Susanne Harrison Apple; his daughters Paula {Wayne} Jefferson, Michelle {Rich} Robbins, step-daughters Libby (Bert) Humphries, Cindy (Jim) Wade, Suzanna (John) Newton; grandchildren Chase Jefferson, Jake Mathis, Joey Mathis; step-grandchildren Amanda Parrish, Jess Fouts, Harrison Newton, and Georgia Newton; his brother Bob {Connie) Apple and sister Terri (Robert} Rigdon; and 8 step-greatgrandchildren. Bill was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a selfless servant who always put others before himself. He loved fishing, attending men’s Bible studies, and the Adult A Bible class. Most of all Bill loved his family and friends. His greatest joy was being anywhere with Susanne and their dog Bates. A memorial service honoring Bill will be Wednesday, February 15 at First Baptist Church of Tucker. Visitation with the family will begin at 11:00 am, and celebration of Bill’s life at noon with a lunch reception following in the church fellowship hall.
