William Herbert Barton Mr.

Mr. William Herbert Barton, age 92, of Lilburn, GA passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015. He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years (married in 1953), Luella Ackerman Barton. William is survived by his daughter, Lynn (Edward) Houppert of Lilburn, GA; daughter, Julie (Jack) Manfredi of Canton, GA; brother, Troy Barton of Greenville, SC; sisters, Jewel Hunt and Iris Evans, both of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Robbie Manfredi, Brook Houppert, Beth Richard, Mickey Manfredi, and Tony Manfredi; 6 great grandchildren. William was born August 10, 1922 and raised in Greenville, SC. He received a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Furman University and served in the U.S. Armed Forces with the Army Air Force. He retired in his 50's after a career with the U.S. Federal Government. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Snellville United Methodist Church with Pastor Jim Cantrell officiating.
