William Todd Effel

A very much-loved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend to many, William ‘Todd’ Effel, 54 of John’s Creek, GA, passed away peacefully on 4/22/22 in Atlanta, GA. after battling an aggressive late-Stage IV Colorectal Cancer.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Colette Effel of John’s Creek, GA; daughter Emily Effel of Peachtree Corners, GA; son Matthew Hamilton and wife Tiffani Hamilton of Hoschton; grandchildren Rylan, Brycen and Eleanor; parents Edward and Carol Effel of Loganville, GA; sister Lisa ‘Cheree’ Forbes of Loganville, GA; nephew Grant Forbes and niece Megan Forbes of Loganville, GA.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday, April 27th, 2022, at Wages & Sons Funeral Home (Lawrenceville Chapel) located at 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.
