William Earl Holman, Sr.

September 14, 1945 — April 22, 2026

William “Bill” Earl Holman Sr., 80, of Braselton, Georgia, passed away peacefully at his home on April 22, 2026. He was born on September 14, 1945, in Racine, Ohio.

William proudly served his country in the United States Army for four years. Following his military service, he built a long and dedicated career, retiring from Conway Truck Line. He was known for his strong work ethic, quiet strength, and deep love for his family.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty Jo Holman; his mother, Goldie Holman; his father, William Holman; and his grandson, William Holman.

William is survived by his three children: William Holman Jr. (Gloida), Bruce Holman (Dawn), and Belinda Nations (Stephen). He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Bradley Holman, Michael Holman, Savannah Holman, Nimuel Holman, Arabella Holman, Brianna Wellham, Blake Wellham, Hannah Barr, Emily Farrow, Justin Holman, Brianna Holman, and Jeremy Riggs.

He is also survived by his brothers, Joe Holman and Roger Holman, and his sister, Rita Travis, along with several nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

William will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country, and the lasting impact he made on all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he loved.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Hebron Church Cemetery in Dacula, Georgia. Wages and Sons Funeral Home of Lawrenceville, Georgia, is in charge of arrangements.
