William Norman Simpson, Jr.

William Norman Simpson, Jr. passed away September 8th. He was born in Barrow County, Georgia December 4, 1935. He is survived by his devoted wife of sixty-one years, Janey P. Simpson, daughter Judith Simpson Sanford (Daniel) of Charlotte, NC, and son Patrick Wade Simpson of Lawrenceville, GA. He is also survived by granddaughter, Dr. Audrey Sanford of Chicago, Ill. and grandsons Eric Sanford of San Francisco, CA, Alexander Simpson, William Simpson, and Jackson Simpson of Lawrenceville, GA. He served in the U. S. Army and later had a long thirty year career with Lanier Business Products. He and Janey enjoyed his retirement filled with family, friends, gardening and golf. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
