William "Will" Diaz, Jr.

William "Will" Diaz, Jr., of Dacula, Georgia, beloved father, husband and brother passed away surrounded by family on July 10th 2026 at Northside Hospital at the age of 60.

Born in New York, New York on March 20th, 1966, and raised in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late William Diaz Sr. and Lydia Rosario.

Following a short stay in Florida, he moved to Georgia in search of a fresh start and employment opportunity. Will was an all-around handyman who loved fixing items. He was always tinkering taking apart, repairing or finding ways to make it work better. If something was broken, Will saw its potential believing it could be used in some way. Besides tinkering, he had a deep love for music. Music of all genres with classic Rock holding a special place in his heart. He enjoyed playing the guitar and always loved Listening to music. He also enjoyed collecting unique and vintage items.

Above all, Willam loved spending time with his son Joshua Diaz who was the center of his world. He was a loving stepdad to all his stepchildren. William loved his family and was determined to always let them know how much he loved them. He was a fun-loving older brother to Noeme, Johanny and Maria. William would frequently call no matter the distance between them, to laugh, reminisce and remind each other that they were siblings, punto (period).

He is survived by his wife, Rose Fooks, his son Joshua Diaz, Joshua's brother Angel; his sisters Noeme Diaz, Johanny Velez, Maria Toro; his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will cherish his memory. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him, he will be deeply missed.
