Young Ae Park

Young Ae Park, age 78 of Lawrenceville, Georgia formerly of Naperville, Illinois died in her home Monday, September 21, 2021

Young Ae is survived by her Husband Young Soo Park and her beloved children, daughter, Jennifer Ahn, and her sons Peter and Daniel Park.

Young Ae was born in the Ham Provence of North Korea on April, 28th 1943. As the North Korean regime came into power she and her family fled to South Korea settling in the city of Taegu. As she grew up she attended Kyung Book Female High school and graduated from Ehwa Woman’s University with a degree in Library sciences. Young Ae was married to Young Soo Park on November 17th 1966. She eventually immigrated to the United States in 1970 with her young family in tow and settled in Chicago, Illinois.

Young Ae was a lover of traveling and nature who was fearless driving by herself to take care of her husband as they traveled for work. She was a devoted Christian who loved taking care of her family and others who never refused anyone asking for help. She will be deeply missed and loved.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, September 24th 2021 at 12pm at Wages and Son’s Funeral Home, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
