What Makes an On-Site Crematory Important?
All of our services are handled in-house, with our cremation facilities located on-site. By owning and operating our own crematory, we can guarantee the safety and care of your loved one through the attention of our professional and compassionate staff.
We perform cremations for one individual at a time.
To ensure your loved one is honored with dignity and respect, we follow a carefully structured set of guidelines for every cremation. Each step of the process is thoroughly recorded and verified before the cremation begins.
We welcome your personal review and input.
We offer a viewing area for families who wish to observe the start of the cremation process. Additionally, families are welcome to tour the facility at their convenience.
How the Cremation Process Works
Cremation is the process of reducing the body to bone fragments through high heat. The resulting remains have a coarse, sand-like texture and are typically whitish to light gray in color. For an average adult, the cremated remains usually weigh between four and eight pounds.
Choices for Your Loved One’s Remains After Cremation
There are several options for handling cremated remains. They can be buried in a cemetery lot or cremation garden, placed in a columbarium, kept at home, or scattered on private property. Our staff is available to guide you through these choices and assist with all necessary arrangements.
