Abbey Thomas Clark

Abbey Thomas Clark, age 88 of Stone Mountain, GA, passed away July 2, 2014. Mr. Clark was born July 4, 1925 in Wayne County West Virginia. He was a WWII Veteran where he served in the U.S. Navy as a radio operator.He was a member of the VFW, American Legion #232, Grand Lodge of WV,A.F.&A.M., Ceredo Lodge 32 where he was a Master Mason. He retired from the U.S. Dept of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons. He is Preceded in death by Parents, Abbey T. Clark and Arona Smith Clark, brother, Cumberland Clark, brother, Donald Clark and sister, Hester Clark. He is survived by Wife, Ruth Bowersox Clark, son, John F. Clark, Charleston, WV; daughter, Denise G. Clark, Charleston, WV; daughter, Lisa R. Clark, Stone Mountain, GA; brother, John K. Clark, Ceredo, WV. Funeral Services will be held Sunday July 6, 2014 at 2:00 pm from the Stone Mountain Chapel of Wages & Sons with Dr. Dan Parker officiating. Interment will follow in the Stone Mountain Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday July 5, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Wages & Sons.
