  49. To Jimmy and Family,
There are no words to describe the loss and pain you are in. My heart breaks for you on the loss of your son so suddenly. We don’t know why God called him home so soon, You are in my thoughts and prayers,

    God’s Child On Loan

“I’ll lend you for a while a child of mine,” He said.

“For you to love the while he lives and mourn for when he’s dead.

It may be six or seven years, or twenty-two or three,

But will you, till I call him back, take care of him for me?

He’ll bring his charms to gladden you, and should his stay be brief,

You’ll have his lovely memories as solace for your grief.

I cannot promise he will stay; since all from earth return,

But there are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn.

I’ve looked the wide world over in My search for teachers true

And from the throngs that crowd life’s lanes

    I have selected you.

Now will you give him all your love, not think the labor vain,

Nor hate Me when I come to call to take him back again?”

I fancied that I that I heard them say, “Dear Lord, Thy will be done!

For all the joy Thy child shall bring, the risk of grief we run.

We’ll shelter him with tenderness, we’ll love him while we may,

    And for the happiness we’ve known, forever grateful stay;

But should the angels call for him much sooner than we’ve planned,

We’ll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand.”

  50. Jimmy,

My heart breaks for you as I can not imagine what you must be thinking or feeling as you deal with your loss. I pray you and your family find peace during this time of tragedy. Remember, a person that departs from this earth never truly leaves us, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, through us, they live on.

  55. To family and friends of Kyle Fincher,

I would like to express my sympathy to you and pray that God will comfort you all during this time. Kyle and I lost contact with each other after high school, but he is one that will never be forgotten. He left a lasting impression with me, with his hilarious humor and caring soul. You could always count on Kyle to make you laugh and smile. God has blessed us with the presence of Kyle during his time here with hopes that his life would bring people closer together and make them smile. I firmly believe that he achieved that. Kyle, we will miss you dearly and life will be different without you, but we will never forget you and the positive impact you have had on our lives.

  57. Kyle and I went to the same high school. I didn’t really know him well, but always knew of him. Every story of Kyle made me laugh so hard! Last night my fiancé, Sean Ausec, shared some of Kyle’s jokes and stories he had shared with Kyle. I regret not getting a chance to know him better, but I can tell from what I’ve heard that he was a great friend. I know that was carried over to him being a great son, brother, fiancé, and father. My prayers go out to his family and his beautiful children. God please provide Kyle’s family with the strength to get through these hard times and also brighten their day when they hear the impact he made on other people’s lives. God Bless

  68. You are the love of my life, my best friend, my protector, my provider, my superman. The best father two little babies could ever ask for. I will love you the rest of my life and take care of our beautiful babies. Rest in peace handsome, I love you baby. I can’t say goodbye, I’ll see you later.

  69. Big Bro, writing something has been such a struggle because words on paper cannot come close to expressing my love for you and the heartbreak of losing you so soon. Three weeks ago we spoke of how you had just begun to learn to plan the guitar and how upset you were for not learning sooner, I told you that you had the rest of your life to learn, never dreaming it would end so soon, but God did know the day and time he would call you home as soon as you were born.
I remember when we were little we would dress up as super slugs by using belts to hold our sleeping bags around our waist as we scooted around the house fighting crime as slugs. You always knew how to make people laugh, your smile was contagious. Thru the laughter and jokes at the end of the day you always had my back as you used to say you wouldn’t think twice about dropping anyone that bothered me.
Every time someone would hurt me I always called you but still had to watch what I said to keep you from really dropping whoever it was. Everyone called me little Finch and knew you were my protector. I loved being called little Finch or Fincher’s little sister and was honored to be your little sister, but now you are gone.
I can’t fully grasp the concept of not seeing you walk thru the front door again or tell Elijah to do the rock and roll face again. I promise you big brother that I will always help take care of Shellie and the kids, they will be cherished and loved, they are a piece of you we get to keep. You will be in my heart and walk with me every day, you may not be here with us physically but your spirit remains with us.
I can’t wait to see you again so you can show me all the amazing things in heaven, this isn’t goodbye, it’s see you again soon. I love you more than there are stars in the sky.

  70. We waited until we thought the time was perfect before deciding to start a family. When you were born we loved our perfect creation, we loved you every second, every minute, every hour of the 28 years we had together. Now you have been taken away from us and we are lost. The love for you will always be in our beating hearts and we will miss every part of you until we see you again in heaven.

  71. As we have reflected the past few days many things have passed thru our minds as we think of the time we spent together. You were many things to many people; son to mom and dad, brother to Stef and Jacob, partner to Shellie, father to Elijah and Eva, friend and mentor to countless others. The things that are intertwined and consistent with the time we had together are your wonderful heart (loving, forgiving, and non-judgmental), your love for your family and your giving to others.
You were always able to strip away the stuff that doesn’t really matter when you looked at people; how much money they had, how they dressed, what color they were or where they were from. You always focused on what was truly important and you loved everyone for who they were inside. When others were talking critically of another you never joined in, you never took the role of judging other people no matter what they had done, even if you were told they wronged you. You were the first to overlook or move on from any disagreement with family or friends. You always looked for the best in people; you were so hopeful and trusting, always believing others and taking them at their word.
You never felt you had outgrown your family; you remained a kid at heart. From the time you were able to talk until you moved out on your own, everyone that was in the house at bed time received a “goodnight I luv you” from you. You ways wanted to be a part of family functions and continue our traditions even if the rest of the world thought mom and dad were lame. Even at 28 with two small kids of your own you were the first to inquire what vacation plans and birthday plan celebrations were as they approached, family events trumped everything else to you. You didn’t feel you had started your own family, you just knew you had extended our original one.
You had felt so much joy in giving of your time and heart to others. The impact you had coaching on so many children and families has been so evident the past few days as we have heard from people we don’t actually know expressing their love and gratitude for you. You gave your time volunteer coaching for no monetary reward or fame. You simply did it because you loved it and the players loved it. You even turned it into a family outing after the kids were born as they played on the playground beside the field.
The floods of tears and memories have been overwhelming. Although your time on earth was short the impact you had and the fullness of your life were great. Those wonderful memories of daily life and special occasions will help mend our broken hearts and keep your memory alive for us all. We know that Elijah and Eva are gifts you have left the world and they will help carry your light of love forward for everyone.
As a 3 yr. old every morning when the garage opened as dad left for work the sound would wake you up, you would run to mom and dad’s bedroom bay window and stand there crying and waving as dad backed out to go to work. Mom would pick you up, hold you in her arms and say “you will see daddy later.” I would look up at the window and say “see you later son” even though you couldn’t hear me. I know that you are looking down on us now and even though we can’t hear you I know you are saying you will see us again later.
    Love Dad

  72. Sorry to hear about your loss it’s difficult coping with death acts 24:15 helps us to appreciate that there will be a ressurection and soon we will be reunited with our loved ones again my thoughts and prayers are with your family
