Dorothy Edna Stephens Bailey (Dot), age 90, of Monroe, Georgia passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2017. Dot grew up and lived most of her life in Gwinnett County. She was a loving and devoted caretaker of her children and her husband of 62 years, Cecil Bailey who preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Bailey and wife, Connie, Roger Bailey and wife, Heather; daughters, Gayle Johnston and husband, Dan, Janice Johnson and husband, Jerry; 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA on Monday, January 9, 2017. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. with service to follow at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Online condolence can be expressed at www.wageandsons.com
She was a amazing woman an aunt. She will be truly missed. Love you aunt Dot.
