Rest In Peace Mary. I was a privilege knowing you.
Mary was a good friend from our college days together at Emory. She was kind soul with a good heart. I will miss her and would like to offer my sincere condolences to her family.
As a college classmate and fellow attorney, I was privileged to know Mary. As a solo practitioner and in her private life she displayed an unusual sense of courage and inner strength that will be a source of inspiration for me for the remainder of my life.
Mary and I met at Emory and remained friends for more than 40 years. She was an honorable person with high moral standards and also had a kind and warm heart. She will be missed by me and my husband Marc Komisarow, whom she knew at Tulane Law School. Our condolences to her family.
Rest In Peace Mary.
I admired Mary greatly during high school — she was brilliant! But I’ll remember her best for taking the time and effort to visit me while our son was in rehab at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta after suffering a spinal cord injury in 2014. Rest in peace, Mary. Your kindness lives on.
Dear Mary,
Your kindness was one the first things i saw when we worked on the yearbook at Oak Ridge High You were always amazing at everything you did on the yearbook and your own studies as well as being great in your Senior class play. Many years later you called me out of the blue when i was going through a hard time almost like you knew something was wrong. Your wise words and gentle empathy really touched and encouraged me at a time when it was hard to see anything positive in the future.
My heart sinks when i think of how much i wish I had told you how special you were but i’m so glad to have the great memories of you until we meet again.
God bless you dear lady.
Rest In Peace, Mary. It was such a privilege to have been your friend and colleague.
