Toni Arlene (Head) Reynolds

Toni Arlene (Head) Reynolds was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on August 25, 1957, to Edgar and Rosell (Morrison) Head. She was their youngest child and only daughter. Toni grew up in Tucker, Georgia, and graduated from Tucker High School in 1975.

On January 31, 1977, Toni married the love of her life, Edward Lee Reynolds. Together they built a life rooted in devotion, humor, and love. They welcomed their only child, daughter Chantelle Nicole Reynolds, on October 4, 1978.

Education was Toni’s lifelong passion. She began her career in 1976 at Dekalb Community College as a student assistant working the switchboard. Her commitment to higher education continued throughout her life, culminating in achieving her personal dream of earning her degree from both Dekalb College in the spring of 1998 and the University of Georgia in August 2007, just before her 50th birthday—a milestone she cherished deeply. Over the years, she held many roles at Dekalb College and later Georgia Perimeter College, touching countless lives with her dedication before retiring from the University System of Georgia on January 31, 2014.

Toni passed away on June 28, 2025, following a brief illness. She will be remembered for her sharp wit, steadfast determination, and unwavering love for her family. She leaves behind her husband of more than 48 years, Edward; her daughter Chantelle Reynolds (Randall Farley) of Duluth, GA; and five grandchildren: Caitlin Windham (Joseph Stillings) of Nashville, TN; Tyler Windham of Oklahoma; Charlie Windham of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil; Morgen Windham (Cassidy Eaton) of Acworth, GA; and Nathan Farley of Duluth, GA. She also leaves behind many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.
