Robert Diercks Hollerorth, 72, of Stone Mountain, Georgia passed away on July 13, 2025.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Linda.  He is also survived by his brother, John, John’s wife Janie and nephews Jay of Stone Mountain, GA, and Robert of Cleveland, OH, sister-in-law, Carolyn Carpenter of Loudon, TN and niece, Martie Gunnoe, Martie’s husband Paul, and great nephews Garrett and Tanner of Austin, TX.  And his beloved rescue dogs, Chief and Owen.  Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Josephine Hollerorth.

Robert grew up in Paoli, PA and attended Episcopal Academy and Great Valley High School.  Robert earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Georgia Tech.  His career included working for computer startup companies in Atlanta and in various positions in the marketing department at IBM.

Robert loved to travel.  He traveled around the world, visited many countries and loved to go cruising.  One of his favorite places to both cruise to and visit was Alaska.  He loved going to Alaska and especially seeing the Northern lights.  He liked it so much, he went numerous times. And it was always spectacular.

Robert will be placed to rest at Simpson Cemetery in Loudon, TN.

I really enjoyed visiting with him before he passed away! I wouldn’t trade those memories for anything! Until we see you again Uncle Robert!!

The fireworks, the happy seasonal decorations, the flags at the entrances to The Parks, the care you gave to those in the sad times of their lives, and the love given to so many grateful puppies. We are all feeling the loss of a wonderful being.
    We miss you Robert. May you rest in peace.
