Leo Paul Healy, 77, of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025. Born July 15, 1948, in Great Neck, NY, Leo lived a life full of kindness, humor, and generosity that touched the hearts of all who knew him.

Leo earned his bachelor’s degree from Fordham University and went on to work for many years in the Pensions Department at MetLife. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus and dedicated himself to organizations that supported the visually impaired.

Those who knew Leo will remember his sharp wit, sweet spirit, and the effortless way he made others feel seen, heard, and valued. He had a gift for making friendships feel natural and genuine, and his warm, welcoming nature drew people in wherever he went. A lover of books, films, and dogs—of which he never met one he didn’t adore—Leo’s compassion and curiosity were constants throughout his life.

Leo was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Diane Marie (Chartrand) Healy; his brothers, Vincent, Kevin, David, and John Healy; and his parents, Vincent and Mary (Wynn) Healy. He is survived by his loving daughter, Katie Healy (Kenny Johnson); his sisters, Mary (Healy) Snell and Regina (Healy) Zimmerman (Al); and many cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Above all, Leo will be remembered for the way he cared for those around him. He delighted in checking in with family and friends, eager to learn about their lives and interests. His generosity, charm, and sweet nature made him a pillar of comfort, humor, and love to his family and community.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Leo Paul Healy’s name to DogsInc, an organization that provides service dogs and support to those in need.
