Robert “Robbie” Edward White, age 61, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025. Born on May 25, 1964, in Smyrna, Georgia, Robbie lived a life full of laughter, loyalty, and love.
Whether serving his country, firing up the grill, or cracking a well-timed sarcastic joke, Robbie had a gift for making those around him feel welcome, loved, and entertained.
Robbie was a man of many passions. He was a true grill master who could turn any cookout into a celebration. He enjoyed crafting, gaming, and staying active on social media, where his wit and humor continued to brighten the lives of friends and family. Quick with a joke, sharp with sarcasm, and always genuine—if you were lucky enough to call Robbie your friend, you had a friend for life.
He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Verlon Kelty; his brothers, Ray and Ben Kirkland; and his father-in-law, James White. Robbie is survived by his loving husband, Gabriel White; his children, Nicholas Ryan Moody, Joshua Moody, and Phillip Moody; daughter-in-law, LaTania Moody; grandchildren, Bryson Moody and Delta Moody; sisters, Susan Kirkland and Janice Biggs; and mother-in-law, Barbara White.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to The Trevor Project (www.thetrevorproject.org), an organization that reflects Robbie’s lifelong belief in love, support, and acceptance for all.
A visitation to honor and remember Robbie will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Wages and Sons Funeral Home, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.

I had prayed this was a dream ,& that I would wake it from it…..sadly that’s not the case. 😭
I would have driven a thousand miles to say goodbye before you were quickly taken, but wasn’t given that chance.💔

You will truly be missed! Growing up together, Shiloh, college, growing apart, then reconnecting. You were there with a smile, a laugh, an ear…whatever was needed. Thank you for being uniquely you. Love and prayers.
