David Michael Crowe
May 9, 1952 – May 24, 2025
David Michael Crowe, 73, of Snellville, GA, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2025, at approximately 1:55 p.m., surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on May 9, 1952, David lived a life marked by quiet strength, deep devotion, and a heart full of love for those around him. He served faithfully for 40 years in the engineering department at Dekalb General Hospital, later known as Dekalb Medical Center, where he earned the respect of all who knew him through his hard work and unwavering work ethic.
David was a kind man, a man of humor and heart. He loved to joke and laugh with his children and was the type of father who spared nothing when it came to their care and happiness. He was a man of few words, but when he spoke—or simply acted—his values shone through. He never gave up, never complained, and always did what needed to be done for his family.
His greatest passion was his family. He was a man of God and a man of prayer—prayers that were almost always for others. He loved movie trivia, sports, grilling out, and spending time with those he loved. Above all, he found purpose in being there for his children and grandchildren.
David’s devotion was perhaps most evident during his wife Patricia Susan Crowe’s illness. Even as she became gravely ill, he never left her side. Her passing on December 7, 2017, left a hole in his heart that never truly healed. Yet David remained strong, picking up the pieces for the sake of his family, especially for his beloved daughter, Jami Nicole Crowe. She was the center of his world, and he poured his love and energy into her with unmatched devotion—she gave him reason to keep going, to keep loving, and to keep living.
David is survived by his children: Jami Nicole Crowe, Jason Matthew Crowe, and Jeremy Steven Crowe; his daughter-in-law, Leslie Crowe; and his cherished grandchildren: Katilyn Ann Crowe, Keaton Davis Crowe, Cassandra Crowe, and Nathaniel Crowe. His legacy of love, sacrifice, humor, and strength lives on through them.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at Wages and Sons Funeral Home, 1040 Main Street, Stone Mountain, GA 30083, followed by a chapel service beginning at 2:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of David Michael Crowe.
David’s life was a living example of faith, family, and quiet perseverance. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
