edwin lamb

September 17, 1955 ~ September 3, 2025

Born in: Durham, North Carolina
Resided in: Lilburn, Georgia

Edwin Earl Lamb passed away, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday September 3, 2025. He is survived by his wife Debbie, children Kevin, Kerrie, and Kristi, grandchildren Mckenzey, Abigail, Landon, Kennedy, Karson, Kamden, Charlie, Finley, Owen, and Piper, his mother Eleanor Lamb, his brother Rick Lamb, and his sister Gayle Lamb. He was preceded in death by his father Earl Lamb.

Edwin loved his family, his church, and his work. He was born Sept 17, 1955 in Durham, NC and married Debbie McKenzey on April 10, 1982. They had three children together, who would then go on to give him ten grandchildren between them. Some of Edwin’s favorite times were spent with his family at their home in Lilburn, GA. He was an active member at the local church, Mountain Park First Baptist, and would go on mission trips to help others around the US. Edwin was an entrepreneur who started his own business in 1998 and proved himself time and time again as a tireless and trusted worker. He loved working closely with his partners in Puerto Rico for many years, forming strong friendships that went beyond just work. Before starting his work, most weekday mornings, Edwin would hike up Stone Mountain to take in the views and enjoy the fresh air with good friends or family.

He will be sorely missed by those he’s left behind, but we are comforted in the fact that he is living in a way we can only dream of, now that he is healed and with his Savior.
