Florence Carolyn Rehwinkel Stone, age 84, born November 3, 1932 of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the Arbor Terrance at Hamilton Mill in Dacula, GA. Carolyn attended Florida State University and married Robert Stone, Sr., the family later settled in Lawrenceville, GA. Carolyn retired from Gwinnett Medical Center but continued to work there as a volunteer due to her love of people. She attended the 1st United Methodist Church for 46 years. She is survived by two children, Robert Stone, Jr. and wife, Judy and Donna Morton and husband, Richard; grandchildren, Carla, Mitchell, Eric, Derrick and Jennifer; 8 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the 1st United Methodist Church, 395 W. Crogan St., Lawrenceville, GA 30046.

The world is a sadder place because Caroline is gone, but the world is a better place because she lived among us. We will miss you, Caroline. You were my first friend when I joined the Joy class.
Robert and Judy, Even thought I did not have the pleasure of knowing your mom, she must have been a special person to raise a fine son like you. My heart goes out to you in this difficult time. You are and will continue to be your in my prayers.
