Joyce Wiggins Waits, age 76, of Stone Mountain, GA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 14, 2025.

Born in Atlanta, GA on Thursday, July 22, 1948, she was the beloved daughter of the late James Andrew and Helen Frances Orr Wiggins. Joyce was a devoted member of Memorial Lighthouse Baptist Church in Stone Mountain, where she worshipped faithfully for many years.

Joyce found joy in traveling, reading, and most of all, spending time with her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving children, Mark (Christy) Waits of Murrayville, GA, and Andrea (Scott) Rose of Lawrenceville, GA; her siblings, Andrew Wiggins II of Stone Mountain, and Penny Erickson of Cumming; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 20, 2025, at Wages and Sons Stone Mountain Chapel, with Rev. Paul Millarc officiating. Interment will follow at Melwood Cemetery, located at 5170 East Ponce de Leon Avenue, Stone Mountain, GA 30083. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Wages and Sons Stone Mountain Chapel, 1040 Main Street, Stone Mountain, GA 30083.
