Lisa Mae Walton, 63, of Dacula, Georgia—formerly of Fairview on the Eastern Shore of Virginia—passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.

Born on July 22, 1961, in Fairview, Virginia, Lisa was the beloved daughter of Odears Walton and the late Robert Walton Sr. From a young age, Lisa was known for her bright spirit, boundless generosity, and ability to bring people together with warmth and laughter.

Lisa was a devoted mother to her daughter Sophelia (Scott) and a proud, adoring grandmother to Giovanni, Wyatt, and Aaron—whom she cherished more than words could express. Her love for family was the heartbeat of her life.

An entrepreneur at heart, Lisa built a dynamic 26-year career across the food industry, real estate investment, and as a dedicated real estate agent. Her drive and creativity were matched only by her resilience. After surviving a devastating car accident in 2010, she met every health challenge thereafter with unwavering strength and grace.

In moments of rest, Lisa loved watching movies, sharing stories, and spending meaningful time with her family. Her laughter, wisdom, and fierce love will be missed deeply and remembered always.

Lisa’s legacy lives on through her daughter Sophelia, son-in-law Scott, and her treasured grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother Odears; her brother Robert Jr.; sisters Odears, Larine, Tina, Brena, and Kim; goddaughter and niece Sami; nieces Rachelle, Reisha, Kamilah, and Jada; nephews Herb, Kye, and Hakeem; grand-nieces Ari, Livi, and Demi; grand-nephews Kyree, Jacoby, and Obsidian; as well as her dear Aunt Khalida, Uncle Frank, Uncle Mickle, and Uncle Johnny. She leaves behind a host of loving cousins, extended family members, and cherished friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Walton Sr.

A memorial service celebrating Lisa’s life will be held at Wages & Sons Funeral Homes and Crematories, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046, at 12 p.m. on Friday, June 20, 2025.
