Mary Williams Strean, 77, of Suwanee, Georgia, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2025. Born on May 2, 1948, in Atlanta, GA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Raymond and Helen Williams.
Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She spent her life dedicated to raising her children, always finding a way to make new cities feel like home as they moved, while making friends across the country. In her later years, her grandchildren became the center of her world. Her love for family was unwavering and evident in everything she did.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Bruce Strean; her daughter, Cindy Huntington, and son-in-law, Brent Huntington, along with their children, Logan Wages and Kolby Huntington; her son, Scott Strean, and daughter-in-law, Julie Strean, and their children, Davis and Hayden Strean.

Mary was known for her warmth, joy, and generous spirit. She brought people together with her famous tea parties, always creating a welcoming space filled with laughter and love. She had a special way of making others feel cherished—often giving out small tokens she called her “I love you gifts,” thoughtful little reminders of her deep affection.
Her life was a beautiful reflection of kindness, creativity, and compassion. Mary will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
