Robin, Mark and I are so sorry to hear about the loss of our friend, Lynn. I have many fond memories of growing up in church, spending the night, etc. together and of course, Mark went to Wadsworth with Lynn and his family bought y’alls house on Greenforest. Our prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Love, Melanie and Mark Butler
Thanks Kathy great times in school. Dee Smallwood. Thanks Melanie Butler … Dee Smallwood
My thoughts and prayers are with Lynn’s family. I have had the honor of working with her for the last 13 years. She was an amazing person with a heart of gold that always made you feel loved and wanted. Rest In Peace my sweet friend.
Thank you Stephanie
Even in sorrow, Lord, we lift up our gratitude to you for the gift of Lynn’s life. We thank you for the light she was in the community, and to all others who were touched by her life. I pray that her presence remains in our hearts, until the day we are united in the joy of Heaven. Rest In Peace Lynn ????????
I had the honor of working with Lynn at OMS for over 12 years, 7 of those we worked side by side. I enjoyed her stories of her boys, Hugh and their 2 dogs. She listened to my funny stories as well. We would laugh until we cried and she made every day coming to work enjoyable. I will miss her sweet personality and her guidance but I cherish the memories we have. Rest In Peace holding your precious babies.
Thank you Sharon …Dee Smallwood Lynns sister
Thank you Kathy Dee Smallwood
Justin,
My information about your amazing mom comes from two sources, the story of her life in the obituary and from knowing you. I have sung in the choir with you for years and I know that anyone with your kindness, sacrifice, gift of music and love of God must have had a mom who was extraordinary in every way. I appreciate the fact that everyone who knew her
thought her kind and loving. She not only worked at a job that involved meeting the public but she also volunteered extensively to help her family and community. I wish I had known her personally. I recognize that she will be missed so very much, not only her contributions but her presence. God bless you, Justin, your family, and your mom’s acquaintances as you all grieve her loss and rejoice in her eternal life. Love you.
Thanks from Dee Smallwood Lynn sister
I am so sorry for the loss of my longtime friend. Although Lynn and I have not seen each other in many years she’s always had a special place in my heart. Lynn and I grew up in church together and went to Columbia together for 2 years until I moved away. We had many spend the night parties and fun times. My husband, Mark, and Lynn went to Wadsworth Elementary together and his family bought the Smallwood’s house on Greenforest Drive when the Smallwood’s moved to Finesse Drive. My prayers are with Hugh, their sons, Nadine, Robin, Dee and all the family. May God give you peace and comfort during this difficult time.
I am so saddened to hear about Lynn’s sudden death. A bright light has been taken from this earth. She was charismatic and a delight to know. I am grateful to have known her.
Lynn was such a special person. She truly made the world a better place. She will be deeply missed.
Deepest regrets,
Marsha Hunt
