Frank Stephen Lambert, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who passed away on September 5, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on July 3, 1946, in Atlanta, Georgia, Steve spent his life dedicated to his family, his country, and his community.
Steve was a proud graduate of Georgia State University with a Masters in Finance and spent over 40 years as a dedicated accountant. His career was marked by integrity and a steadfast commitment to his work, but it was his service in the army as a first lieutenant during Vietnam that truly exemplified his bravery and dedication. Steve’s experiences in the military shaped him into a man of deep resilience and compassion.
In his personal life, Steve was the epitome of devotion. Married to his beloved wife, Bobette Yvonne Lambert, for over 46 years, he built a home filled with warmth and laughter. His family was the center of his universe, and he cherished every moment spent with his children and grandchildren. His sons, Nicholas (Tamara), Alexander (Jessica), Theodore, along with his daughter, Juliet (Daniel);grandchildren: Ashton, Veda, Tulasi, Ramona, Ophelia, and Eloise; step-grandchildren:Ace and Najah will forever remember him as a pillar of strength and love.
Steve’s selflessness and perseverance inspired those around him, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him. His children and grandchildren revered him, and his legacy of kindness and dedication will be carried on by his family for generations to come.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents Cecil Elisha Lambert and Thelma Lambert; his stepmother Helen Marie Warren; his brother, Cecil Joseph Lambert.
While we are still reeling from the loss of this extraordinary man, we find comfort in the memories we shared and the lessons he imparted. Steve’s life was a testament to the power of love and the importance of family, and his memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In this time of mourning, we invite friends and family to remember Steve’s life with joy and gratitude, celebrating the remarkable journey he shared with us all.
Memorial service will be held Monday, September 22, 2025 at Wages & Sons, 1040 Main Street, Stone Mountain, Ga 30083 at 10:00am. Officiating service will be his grandson, Ashton Lambert.
Burial services will be at a later date October 10, 2025 at 9:30am, Georgia National Cemetery
