Resided in: Loganville, Georgia

Teri Schreider, born in East Point, GA on June 1, 1965, passed away peacefully after a life devoted to love, service, and compassion. A beacon of strength and kindness, Teri was a cherished wife, devoted stepmother, proud grandmother, beloved daughter, and loyal friend.

Teri earned her nursing degree at Emory University and dedicated her career to caring for others, ultimately serving as a Director of Medical/Surgical, RN.C., BSN before retiring. She was a tireless advocate for patients, particularly those suffering from chronic illness, and was known for her unwavering compassion, clinical excellence, and leadership. Her work touched countless lives, and her empathy left a lasting legacy in every ward she served.

Teri found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved decorating, gardening, tending to her flowers, attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and could often be found poolside with her husband. She had a passion for reading, a soft spot for Lifetime movies, and a deep love for gift-giving. Above all, her heart belonged to her family—especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Teri was a proud Christian, finding solace and strength in her non-denominational faith, and lived her life with grace and gratitude. She turned to her Bible as a source of comfort, reflection, and peace, nourishing both her spirit and her love of learning.

She is survived by her loving husband of 13 years, Tari Schreider; her stepdaughters Vanessa (Brent) Fulton and Whitney (Damir) Lulic; her grandchildren Braxton, Zayden, Yusuf, and Nailah; and her beloved mother, Dorothy Gerecke. Teri also leaves behind her cherished cat, Gaby- short for Gabriel, after the angel- whom she rescued as a tiny kitten. Gaby was not just a pet, but a steadfast companion and source of comfort, bringing her joy and peace for many years. Teri was preceded in death by her father, Joe Teague.

Teri never met a stranger—her warmth, laughter, and resilience left a lasting imprint on everyone she encountered. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit continues to live on through the lives she touched and the love she gave so freely.

As per her wishes, Teri was cremated, and her ashes were lovingly shared between her husband and mother.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to one of the following organizations close to Teri’s heart:

Teri’s life was a testament to service, love, and unshakable faith. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
