John, I fondly remember the playful times with Judy and my sister Jackie in Milner, Macon, Atlanta and Elon. While Judy was visiting with us in Elon she was in the early stages of measles and after washing our hair we poured vinegar over our heads as condition and shine. Oh my! Judy screamed and we had no idea what was wrong. We found out quickly that she had early stages of measles and Aunt Julia rushed to her side. All to fast this beautiful smiling, laughing girl has gone to rest. We shall miss her. My prayers are for you and her many friends in Georgia.
Cousin, June
Dearest John,
Judy spoke so lovingly about you and how proud she was of you. Your mom had an ebullient personality and wonderful caring nature for others. Judy and I loved to engage in intellectual conversation especially on politics and world events.
I will miss her and remember her always.

My good friend Judy was always a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on whenever I needed that . . . totally dependable for fifty two years of friendship. It is hard to imagine life without this wonderful lady in our lives, but I’ll focus on her sweet spirit, her generosity, her sense of humor, and her love of life as I remember her fondly for the rest of my life. She was truly a role model for all.
Aunt Judy was a beautiful, giving and loving woman. Although I hadn’t seen her in several years, we kept in touch through letters, cards and e-mails. Judy had a great sense of humor and was always ready to discuss current political subjects. She was a wonderful sister to my Mother. She will be greatly missed
Judy’s passing leaves such a void. She was so outgoing, vibrant, and full of life. Having been her co worker,
buddy, forever friend, I feel very priviledged to have known her as well as I did.
My condolences to her son John, her pride and joy.
Dear John,
Your mom touched a lot of lives. She was the spark at so many Red Hat gatherings and a thoughtful, empathetic friend. She will be greatly missed
I consider it a privilege to have known Judy as a library co-worker, close friend, and confidant over the past many years. We enjoyed so many lunches, movies, plays, visits, and chats. I attended East Atlanta High with Judy. She was always so smart, and I admired her intellect and her contributions to class discussions. I played basketball, and I remember also that Judy was one of our biggest fans and supporters. She went out of her way to make others feel good. She was a kind and goodly soul, and she will be missed.. I am presently out of town or I would be there to offer my condolences in person

John, I worked with your mom at the Five Forks Library for several years. She was a kind and giving person. I am so glad I ran into her a month ago at the Grayson library. I’m sorry for your loss.
Dear John,
You are the reason that Judy and I became friends over 10 years ago. You brought her into my life just by coincidence, but our friendship was no coincidence. It grew over the years and I knew I could always call Judy anytime and she would be there to give a listening ear, never judging and oh, so kind with always a smile. Judy was so smart; I loved having lunch with her to discuss what was going on in the world, get good advice on movies, and had some deep discussions on religion and politics. I felt we could talk about just anything. She was always such a joy and I will miss her terribly. I lift my prayers up to you and may God bring you comfort in the coming weeks.
With heartfelt sympathy – Joan
