Wendy Heffner Wilson age 75 of Stone Mountain entered into eternal rest on Monday May 24, 2021.

Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina on Friday, June 1, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Bain L. Heffner MD and Mary Heffner.

Wendy was a graduate of the Walter M. Williams High School, and also attended the University of North Carolina; she enjoyed gardening, and was an active ALTA tennis player. Other than being a homemaker, she was a former Paralegal Secretary.

She was also the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Surviving is her husband: George C. Wilson of the home, daughters: Dee Wilson, and her husband: Bert Bolinger of Yulee Florida, and Katie Wilson and her husband: Jim Rifenburg of Tucker, GA.

Wendy’s wishes were to be cremated and no services will be held.

  4. Just found out that Wendy had passed. I am so sorry to hear the sad news. I have many fond memories from our time together while living in Stone Mountain. We had so much fun whether it was at the swimming pool or playing tennis. I remember Wendy and Freddie were partners and always had the longest matches since they just wanted to keep the ball in play. Rest In Peace.
