  1. Thoughts and prayers for Earl and Jimmy and the rest of her family, friends and neighbors. I had the privilege of being her neighbor for several years – I know she will be greatly missed!

  2. I met Elaine when she joined us at my daycare. Her laughter, intelligence and determination always kept us inspired. She loved to sing and was the best at trivia. We were all aware of the love that Elaine and Earl shared by his devotion to her and her happy reaction when he arrived to pick her up each day. My thoughts, prayers and love to all who loved Elaine, she will be deeply missed.

  7. I always loved your smile. So grateful to have known you. It was always fun to run into you on the trail walking our dogs! Love and hugs to your family.

  8. Elaine I will miss your laughter. We had some fun times together with the Caleb and friends group! I loved seeing the sparks between you and Earl until the very end. May your travels be exciting and peaceful….See you on the other side. You better be there to greet me no matter when it is!

  9. Although a sister-in-law, I thought of Elaine as a sister…She was fun to be around and loved her family so much. We pray that she is at peace now and may the many happy memories that she created be the ones that we treasure. Forever in our hearts…❤️

  10. Elaine had such a joy for living! I will never forget how much she loved her animals and how much they loved her back. Her passing leaves such an empty space.

  11. Elaine and I were in a small but powerful spiritual study group together for years. She was always so easy to be around and had such a good sense of humor & so much common sense. It was just fun knowing her! We shared a love of exploring the spiritual side of life, compassion for animals, travel & adventure that I cherish.
May this new Great Adventure she is on be one of Deep Peace and Joy for her. May Earl and Jimmy & all her family feel and know her abiding love for them. Elaine, Godspeed! You are loved and Life on this planet is better & richer because you were here!

  15. I’m truly inspired by the Legacy you have left. I think about one of the last vacations you and Earl took together to Sarasota and I know it was truly special. I picture you now walking barefoot along the beautiful beach blissfully happy and at peace. Our family will always be inspired by your family’s strength and compassion to others.

  16. Earl, sincere condolences to you, Jimmy, and family. Having been friends with you and Elaine for over twenty years, there are so many fond memories of meetings, parties, banquets, and time spent together. Elaine was fun to be with and always so supportive of you. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Peace be with you.

  17. Thank you Elayne for letting me see many sides of you. We walked together as sisters, and I wish there had been more words we could share.
    Perhaps we still can.
    Love you siStar.
Blessings to Earl and Jimmy in the times ahead. Thank you.

  18. I feel so fortunate to have seen many sides of your beautiful self. I just wish we could have communicated more. Perhaps we still can
We walked as siStars and may your spirit shine on as your next adventure awaits.

  19. Cousin Elaine, We miss you. We miss your wit, humor and kindness to all animals along with various other features. Sadly, the “Grigalunas Clan” has diminished once again along with some pre-Georgian day and childhood memories. It’s sad to know that I, my wife Deborah, all our cousins and families will not be able to revive, reminisce and enjoy these memories with you – New Years Eve at Shananigan’s; climbing Mt. Moosilauke with your puppy Rusty; Sunapee Hills ski chalet; your beautiful Norwood house; and your Brighton apartment with a tenant in your closet. Most fondly of course, my sister and I enjoyed our annual two week summer “Cape Cod” vacations with you, your mother, and father on weekends, at the Middleboro cottage that they physically built by themselves. It was great. Summers and weekends at the Navaho Shores cottage included swimming, hiking, blueberry and mushroom picking along with hanging out with the other kids nearby. I know this was a time you would never forget nor will I. Elaine, It was a good life of a good person, daughter, wife, mother and mother-in-law which is why your leaving us is so very sad. We love you!

  20. Elayne…Student of the Past and the Future who still embraced the Present..True Blue Friend…Sparkling Eyes….Fun Always!

God Bless Elayne. God Bless Jim and Bo. And God Bless Earl who went the distance for the Love of his Life.

  21. Thirty years a neighbor, but forever a memory. You will be missed Elaine. Our deepest sympathy to Earl, Jimmy and those you held dear.

  22. I miss you. I have missed you for a long time. But I will remember you. Always. The time you were given the responsibility to keep me safe while the folks all took off for Hawaii. Pickle stuffed hamburgers? No thankyou… That mustang!!! The color orange. Penny. Middleborough….catching toads, picking mushrooms…fighting off mosquitoes. Holidays, especially Christmas Eve. Happy times, fond memories. Until we meet again. Love you cousin…

  23. I will miss you, but I’s sure we will all meet up someday in a better place. I can remember you and Earl taking me down to Earl’s apt in Boston and then out for my first beer! The summer visits at your Dad’s cottage by the lake were spectacular. We will miss you

  24. Earl, Mary Ann and I send our heartfelt and deepest condolences in the passing of Elayne to you, Jim and family. We remember the fun times in Boston with Bill, Chris and Elayne along with our weddings…….Dick and Mary Ann Cleary……..Plainville Mass 02762

  25. Earl, I am saddened to hear of your loss, you were Glenn’s friend in time of need and I know he would be heartbroken for you and your family, as I am too. God bless you and comfort you during this time of loss.

  26. We are shattered by this news, only just received here in Australia (my email fault.) The Lairds are some of our best friends in the world, and a world without Elayne seems unbearable. Such a generous, hospitable, fun loving soul. We met in Bermuda 45 years ago and have shared adventures in New York, Boston, Spain, Morocco, Paris, London, Hawaii and Atlanta. We grieve for her loss to Earl, Jim and family.. and hope they can take comfort in knowing the joy Elayne brought to all those who had the privilege to know her. Marilyn and Richard Cunningham., Sydney, Australia.
