Patricia Susan Crowe, 61, went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2017, with her family by her side, in Athens Georgia. She was the wife of David Crowe. They shared 44 years of marriage together. Patricia was born December 27, 1955, in Atlanta, Georgia. She was the daughter of Max and Hazel Sandow. She graduated from Clarkston High School in 1973. She was employed at Artistic Color Lab and was a photo developer technician earlier in life and then became a full-time homemaker for her children. She was a teenager when she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and has been in love with our Lord and Savior ever since. She will be remembered as a beautiful soul who knew our Lord and Savior. She was a wonderful wife and mother. She had many special gifts from the Lord that she got to share with others. She loved music and playing the piano, poetry and creating her artwork. She had such a gentle spirit; she loved to laugh, play, and spend time with friends. As a mother of three, she was a great example of compassion, love, faith in God. She possessed many fruits of the spirit as written in Galatians 5: 22-23. Her marriage to David Crowe was a wonderful testimony regarding faithful love through many trials and tribulation but yet steadfast with resolve in her commitment for better and for worse, in richer and in poorer till death do us part. Her legacy will always exist and last in her children and grandchildren for that’s where she made her eternal deposits of energy, effort, and faith. May her life always reside there in the hearts of the ones that held so tight.. her family her children and friends. She is survived by (husband) David Crowe, (daughter) Jami Crowe, (Son) Jason Crowe, (spouse) Stacey Crowe, (grandchildren) Cassandra and Nathaniel Crowe, (Son) Jeremy Crowe, (spouse) Leslie Crowe, (grandchildren) Kaitlyn and Keaton Crowe. Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I did not know your mom but you have expressed what a beautiful kind Godly women she was. I know she must have been wonderful to have raised her children with your father in a loving Godly home. Let her memories always comfort you and know that you will all rejoice in heaven with her one day.

  2. We just learned of Patty’s homegoing and offer our love and sympathy to each of you. Your wife and mother was such a delightful person with a tremendous love of everyone, especially her family. She will be greatly missed but the sweet memories of her will remain forever; enriching the lives of all who knew and loved her.
We pray that you experience the sweet comfort of the Holy Spirit and the peace that Christ has promised to those who mourn.
    All our love and prayers,
    Alan & Stephanie

  3. My condolences to your family. Pain and suffering caused by the passing of a loved one is hard to endure. God’s word gives us the strength we need to endure under trails. He has provided a hope for the future when these things will no longer exist. Revelation 21:4, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

  4. Pattie was my best friend for 50 years. She had a heart of gold. When were young we were like sisters. Pattie took art classes from my Mother and in exchange I rode Pattie’s horse. We traded clothes and kept each other’s confidences. Over the years, we were there for each other in good times and bad. The births of babies, holidays and get together that included members of both of our families. Pattie was a rock for me in bad times like when my marriage failed and when my Mother died. I was the friend she called when her mental health failed her. I loved Pattie. She loved unconditionally. Pattie was devoted to her children and proud of each of them. I will miss her. But I thank God that Pattie is no longer in pain. She sees clearly. Pattie stands righteously before the throne of God and has been welcomed home.
I deeply regret, Mike, Jamie, Jason and Jeremy that I cannot come to the funeral. My circumstances make that impossible. But, know that I grieve with. You and the whole Sandow-Crowe family will be uppermost in my prayers especially on Tuesday.

  5. So sorry, Loved her very much despite the distance. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your siblings.

  6. This is so beautifully written to describe the person that Patti was, knowing her since we were 16, we also shared many things. Always admired her way with words, she received the very artistic side of the brain I always hoped for! Her poetry, paintings, etc. we’re amazing, so gifted was she. She loved the Lord with all her heart and treasured her family, A very strong prayer partner was she, always knew she was praying. We pray God’s comfort for your family, love you all,

  7. Jeremy and Leslie – We are sorry for your loss but we rejoice that your mom is in the presence of the Lord.

  8. I knew “Patty Sue” since the day she was born. My family & the Sandow family spent countless hours together. My mother & Hazel were long time friends from their youth, so me, my brother Danny and my sister Beverly were very close to Gary, Donnis and to Patty. Patty Sue was, probably the sweetest girl I ever knew. I’ve found out too late to attend the service which causes me to feel even more sad about her death.
I will continue to cherish the countless memories of Patty Sue and all the Sandow family. May she rest in peace.

  9. My heart is broken. Patty and I had a unique relationship for at least the last 15 years. I will miss our conversations, her wit, and her intelligence. She loved and cherished her family so much and I know that this is hard for all of you . Jami, know I am always here for you. I will be donating 100 dollars towards research to help combat mental illness in Pattys name. Love, Katherine
