Aaron Rocco Podeszwa Sr., Age 59, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 29, 2019, at Gwinnett Medical in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He was born March 13, 1960, in Newark, New Jersey to Peter and Bridgette Podeszwa. Aaron worked as a Chef for most of his life. His delicious meals won him many awards and he was honored to feed many celebrities. Tens of thousands of people had the opportunity to enjoy his food through the restaurants he worked at and the restaurants he owned.  His passion for food made him friends far and wide. His uncanny ability to strike up a conversation with anyone will leave his memory on the world. The only thing he loved more than food and conversation was his wife and family. He is survived by his wife, Denise; three sons, Aaron Rocco Jr., Nikola, and Giancarlo; two daughter-in-laws, Courtney and Anette; two grandchildren, Aaron Rocco III and Tia Bella. Family, friends, and others whose lives Aaron touched, are welcome to join us at Wages and Sons Funeral Home, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046, on Thursday, August 8th, 2019 from 5pm-8pm with prayer and eulogy at 7pm. Mass will be held on August 9th, 2019 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 319 Grayson Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046 at 11am.   8. I had the pleasure meeting Aaron a while back taking a health care/co-worker to meet him, so he could take her home. We talked a bit and he asked me who again do I know that you know, I said Thomas Doman is my nephew he said oh you mean Tripp and laughed they were in New York and he showed me pics and said now your family, how sweet. When I saw the news on FB I was shocked cause I told Thomas He never looked sick he looked healthy. R.I.P Love and prayers to all the family…
