Abigail Diaz, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2024, at the age of 82. Born on August 14, 1942, Abigail’s life was a testament to her unwavering faith and her deep commitment to serving others.

A devoted Christian, Abigail was affiliated with the Salvation Army, where her years of dedicated service earned her a Lifetime Service Award. Her spirit radiated kindness and compassion, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Abigail was a true sparkle of light, whose iconic beauty was matched only by the warmth and love she exuded.

Abigail was preceded in death by her beloved husband Luiz Diaz; loving daughter, Ruth and sisters, Naomi and Loida.

She is survived by her three cherished children, Rebekah, Rachel, and Elliot; as well as 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Her legacy of strength, dignity, and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to be touched by her presence.

A memorial service to honor Abigail’s life will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at 2:00 PM at The Salvation Army Atlanta Temple Corps, located at 2090 N Druid Hills Rd, Atlanta, GA 30329.

In celebrating her life, we remember her humility, compassion, and the peace she brought into our lives. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered as a beacon of light in our world.
