My heart is so saddened by the loss of Cathy being here with us, but so joyful in knowing that she is in the presence of our Lord and Saviour. Cathy was such a fun-loving, crazy, generous, and caring friend! She was a true sister in Christ and we shared many special times in choir, Bible studies, VBS, preschool, and hanging out with the kids. Cathy was always a friend that reached out. She called me often to check on me, and would always offer an ear to listen or a shoulder to lean on. I loved her cards and always looked for her to be the first Christmas card in my mailbox in November! Her genuine thoughtfulness and loving kindness mixed with her crazy practical jokes and infectious laugh will live on in our memories of a true friend! She will be greatly missed! My thoughts and prayer are with you all,

I bet Cathy will let us get there and just as we enter the gate – turn off the light switch as a joke! So thanks Cathy for making my life a little more fun and reminding me that life is NOT work but should be filled with what fills us with joy. Until we meet again…
