Ann Walker Bullock

Ann Walker Bullock passed away on November 22, 2014 in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Ann was born in Bessemer, Alabama on May 30, 1936 to Robert Emmett Walker and Annie Laurie Shaw. She enjoyed a long career as the executive assistant to the president and also to the board of directors of Southtrust Bank and its predecessors, The Bank for Savings and Birmingham Trust National Bank in Birmingham, Alabama and was an active member of Executive Women International, Birmingham Chapter. Her amazing spirit was most evident in her boundless love and devotion to her family and friends, rivaled only by her passion for Alabama football. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert (Bob) Walker, Elsie Walker Horton, Jack Walker, and John Walker. She is survived by her twin sister, Clara Walker Callaway, and a number of nieces and nephews, including Jan Walker, Laurie Callaway Lewis and her husband Joey, and Lisa Callaway, all of Lawrenceville, Georgia. She is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews, including James Horton (Heather) of Mobile Alabama, Andrew Baker of Atlanta, Georgia, Audrey Merkel (Hugh) of Atlanta, Georgia, Elise McIver (Andrew) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Suzanne Baker of Atlanta, Georgia, Maxwell Baldwin of Lawrenceville, Georgia, and Curtis Baldwin of Lawrenceville, Georgia. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 30, at 2:00 p.m. at Wages & Sons Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, with a wake to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
