Annette “Munner” Hix, age 86, of Loganville, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and the Church Secretary for 23 years. She always put others first. She is survived by her husband, of over 67 years Elmon Ira Hix, Jr., Children, Tim Hix, Monroe; Deborah (Alvin) Long, Madison; Sister, Cora Lee (Gene) Long, Stone Mountain. One grandchild, Pastor Marty Jacobs and Six great grandchildren, Chris, Maddy, Jackson, Jordan, Josie and Baby Jules. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 2:00 at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel with Rev. Don Richards, Rev. Tommy Foskey, Rev. Daryl Wade and Pastor Marty Jacobs officiating. Burial at Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm at Wages & Sons.

  3. Oh my goodness mother just told me about our sweet dear Annette!! I am heartbroken as you are!! I am so glad I went to see her in their new home!! She will always be remember for her grace, gratitude, love, and her love for my meatloafs!! I will be praying for all of you and especially Jr!! Give him a hug from me and mother Mary Johnson!!

  4. Hello, I work at Great Oaks & I loved Mrs. Hix so much. She was a very sweet & kind lady. I told I was expecting & she said make sure I’m on the baby sitting list.. The family & Jr are in my prays, she will be missed dearly.

  5. So sorry to hear of our cousin Annette leaving us for a better home.
    We did not know of her passing until almost the hour of the funeral.
