Annie Ruth Wilson, (Ann), 91, passed away on December 27, 2017 at her home in Stone Mountain, GA. She was born on May 14, 1926 in St. Clair Springs, AL to Carl and Thelma Anderson. Ann grew up in St. Clair Springs, AL. She graduated from Springville High School. After high school she attended Jacksonville State University. She worked for Sears and Roebuck for 14 years. Later she went back to school to become a realtor and broker and was self-employed for 10 years, and then worked for the Georgia Real Estate Commission for 19 years before retiring. Ann was a member of various community and women's clubs. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stone Mountain for 50 years. She is survived by one daughter, Diane Stewart of Albertville, AL; a grandson Paul Davis and his wife Carol of Jamestown, NC; a granddaughter Jennifer Spain and husband Alan of Birmingham, AL and two great grandsons, Davis and Cole. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 30 at the Wages & Sons Funeral Directors Stone Mountain Chapel with Dr. Dan Parker and Rev. Ken Magness officiating. A Graveside service will follow in Gadsden, AL. Graveside service will follow in Gadsden, AL. Friends may visit with the family from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are directed to the Stone Mountain First Baptist Church P.O. Box 806 Stone Mountain, GA 30086.   4. Ann was such a dear and precious friend to me. She always made a point of making others feel loved and cared for. She will be sorely missed but we will see each other again one day and I look forward to that reunion. Praying for you, Diane.
