Anthony “Kurt” Henry

anthony “kurt” henry

January 22, 1960 ~ July 25, 2021

Born in: Louisville, Kentucky
Resided in: Duluth, Georgia

It is with great sadness that the family of Anthony “Kurt” Henry, of Duluth, Georgia, announce his sudden passing on July 25, 2021, at the age of 61.

Kurt worked hard at everything he did. He was a loving husband and father. He earned a degree in Journalism/Film and Television Production from the University of Georgia, and a Certificate of Cinematography from the American Film Institute, which afforded him many fascinating experiences, but not the career fulfillment he sought. So, after 20 years, he left film and television behind and took up work in the field of veterinary care. His love of animals and the satisfaction of assisting in providing them a healthier, happier existence gave him a second, more gratifying career that lasted for 17 years. He is surely now rewarded with the love and appreciation of so many of God’s creatures that he helped throughout the years.

Kurt will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 35 years, Tina; daughter Carissa (John) Shuman; grandchildren: Kyden, Tom, and Liz; sister Kyle (Mike) Adams, and numerous other family members and friends.

Kurt was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Teresa, and his sister Kim.

A celebration of Kurt’s life will be held on August 15, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Shorty Howell Park pavilion, 2750 Pleasant Hill Road, Duluth, Georgia 30096.

  2. This is so hard to express, but all of us at Webb Bridge Animal Hospital have such fond memories of Kurt and his love for all animals.

Give Buck a big hug for us!

    • CandleImageThank you, Dr. Kennedy. Webb Bridge gave Kurt an opportunity to learn, love, and thrive in the veterinary field, and afforded him many years of excellent experience and lasting friendships.
