Richie never knew a stranger and always lit up the room with his big heart and bigger personality. His positive energy, love of life and sense of adventure will be dearly missed. My heart goes out to his family and many friends. Each of us lost a bit of our hearts this week. May we always remember the good times and how Richie impacted our lives. Much love and prayers.

Utterly shocking! Unbelievable ! Such a nice young man ! Such terrible loss. This is so sad. I feel shattered after hearing shocking news. May God give strength to the family to bear this loss. May his soul find eternal peace at the feet of the lord. I wish I was there to share the grief with family.

Richie,

We were close. We were very close friends. I’ve been there for you during some of your toughest and rough patches. We’ve shared great memories. I wish you didn’t leave so soon man, why? You had a successful future ahead of you most couldn’t imagine or comprehend. You have a wonderful family and great friends. You achieved and accomplished more than most and you took that for granted man. You are stubborn and you were gonna do what you wanted regardless of what anybody told you. People adored and love you. You lived in the fast lane for sure. I wrote and am writing songs for you with Patrick and more with Zack, too. You inspired me too, man. You had a bright future ahead of you. We were gonna do great things together. Now I have to do them alone. I have to hold down the fort. On the flight to LA I cried when I heard the news. Ian, Paul, O, Amber, Anna, my brother, your brother, dad, mom and family loves you. Pat and Zack love you man — so so so so many people man. You’ll be missed. I know we had our tiffs but you wanted the best for me as I did for you. This is hard for me and everyone. It still hasn’t hit me that you are gone. I never got to tell you I love you before you left us. Rest easy man. Until we meet again

Our heartfelt condolences to the entire family. We saw Richie every year at thanksgiving. He would march into the house, dressed like a GQ model with a huge box of chocolates and take over the conversation for the next few hours. His presence will be missed. May his memory be a blessing.
