Frank Stull Ashby, 80 of Buford, GA died January 21, 2013 at Emory University Midtown Hospice, Atlanta, GA. He was born September 29, 1932 in Sebree, KY. Son of Milton and Augusta Ashby, he is survived by his wife of 56 years, Genevieve Ashby; two daughters Judith Michael Slotterback of Arnold, MD and Tracy Mark Gott of Kingsport, TN. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Kaitlin Slotterback, Jackson Slotterback and Will Gott; a brother, Wendell Diane Ashby of Sebree, KY, Nephew, William Lynda Ashby of Duluth, GA and Dawn Ashby of Duluth, Jason Kim Wilson of Carrollton, GA and Michael Laura Ashby of Marietta, GA. Frank was retired from Mirro Corp and Emory University Midtown Hospital. He serves in the US Navy 1952-1956 aboard the USS John R. Pierce. He was a member and Deacon Emeritis of Lawrenceville First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, 3495 Sugarloaf Parkway, Lawrenceville, GA. Viewing will be held on January 25, 2013 at Wages and Sons Funeral Home, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway Lawrenceville, GA from 2-4 pm and again from 7-9pm. Service will be held at Lawrenceville First Christian Church at 11:00am on Saturday January 26th, 2013. Burial following the service at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1832 Pleasant Hill Road Duluth, GA.
