Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. DK, thank you for the nice talks we had on the floor. I enjoyed hearing your stories about growing up and your adventures in NY and DC. The joy on your face when you spoke of your wife, children and the family. DK, you are a kind and gentle spirit who will be missed but never forgotten. DK, you once told me that you’ve lived a good life and enjoyed all of the experiences. I’m so glad we had those conversations I will cherish them and your memory forever. Rest in peace.

  2. May all the memories you have of a life well lived, console you all during this difficult time.
Our thoughts & prayers are with all of you!

  3. DK,I will love and miss you so much.My Friend, whom I envy in many ways.I will miss your stories and jokes you shared, mostly the courage you gave me.Your last words, keep loving God,because it shows through you.I miss you so much, its hurts, but I will always remember who YOU are.A good man gone home to be with our Father.I love you Dk,rest in peace, forever Friend :

  4. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. BK was one of the kindest and most considerate men I have ever met, and it was a pleasure knowing him, a true gentleman. His friendship is one of my best memories of having worked at Bloomingdale’s.

  5. What an honor to have known you.You were a bright light in Bloomingdale’s. I so enjoyed our conversations about your past careers, the 59th ST store ,your travels and most important to you:your family. You will be missed.I know you would not want us to grieve, but to celebrate your life.I will cherish those memories of our talks forever.

  6. I will miss DK’s kind demeanor and ever ready smile, always making Bloomingdale’s a more pleasant place. My thoughts and prayers are with the Bakshi family at this time of great loss.
    In Sympathy,

  7. For the short time I had the pleasure of working with D.K., his calm, kind demeanor was always a bright spot. He commented to me once that I “had manners”, but it was truly one of his best traits. Sincere & courteous,I will always value my time with him. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
