Barbara Lynne McAdams

Barbara Lynne McAdams, age 74, died on November 22, 2022, peacefully at her home in Lawrenceville, GA. She was born in New York and raised in Mesquite, Texas. Barbara moved to Georgia and worked in accounting for the insurance industry.

Barbara is survived by her son, Eric Hinkle, sisters, brother, and spouses: Mary and Bobby Kennedy of Ferris, TX; Teresa and Wayne Durham of Carrollton, TX; Odis and Alice Johnson of Lone Oak, TX; Best Friend: Kim Sparks of Lawrenceville, GA; four nephews, one niece, 2 grandnephews, 4 grandnieces, and one great-grandniece; and many loving friends.

Barbara is preceded into God’s hands by her mother, Lynne Johnson, sister Joyce Lawson Eads, nephew, Mark Lawson,  brother Henry Johnson, and husband Harvey Clein.

Barbara’s favorite saying was Coffee, Cats, and Cigarettes. Barbara was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Barbara loved reading, learning, and knitting afghans.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022, at 2:00PM, at Wages and Sons Funeral Home, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA, 30046, officiated by Deacon Terry Millinger. The family will receive friends at 1:00PM.
