Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. A beautiful person inside and out. I have many special memories. Praying for God to provide the entire family with comfort and strength in the days and months ahead.

    Love Y’all.
    Willene

  2. CandleImageThe immense loss my mother’s absence will leave in my life is beyond measure, and description. While I am overwhelmed with sadness and loss, I am filled with gratitude for the appreciation for music she instilled in me. I often went with her as a small child to orchestra rehearsals and performances. Itzhak Perlman once asked me if I was studying to be a fine violinist like my mother! She loved my choir associations, and loved being a “roadie” for us, and attending workshops with us whenever she could. Mom most certainly had a sharp singular wit, and loved making others laugh and smile.
She valued faith, love, friendship, and humor so much. Just like my mother, I value those things every day.

  3. CandleImageFly high sweet Betty! Though we won’t see you here, you’re light and love will always remain. Your smile and hospitality was the best. I was always so happy to hear “Doogie” when I would be out somewhere in Lawrenceville. Miss Betty knew how to love and make people feel special.

  4. We loved seeing all the pictures, full of memories, especially for John. All of those stories will be retold and enjoyed for many years. We loved Betty, and pray for her family as you deal with your loss. John and Dianne Roberts

  5. Celebration of life for Betty is one of unconditional love, family gatherings service to others, and a great sense of fun. Betty was my friend. Robert Sr., Betty, Brad and I enjoyed many mountain trips and walks. There will always be a special place in my heart for Betty and our memories.

  6. To the Bradford family, I am so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. I wished I had known about the visitation and I would have come. I remember Betty and as our next door neighbor. Should all are in my thoughts and prayers. Ginn Alford Smith

  7. CandleImageJim and Charlotte Davenport … We are saddened that our current health situation does not allow us to be a part of the homegoing celebration for Betty Jane. Betty Jane was so special to us. Over many years she called us continuously to keep up with us and Jim’s mother and Betty Jane’s Aunt, Lottie Cooper Davenport. Betty loved all of her family. It was the kind of love that was contagious. You always felt better when you were around her. It was such a joy to talk with her both in person and on the phone. I can’t begin to count the number of times she would call on the phone. She always had an uplifting word no matter the circumstances. What a wonderful ambassador she was/is for Jesus. We are looking forward to the day we will join Betty Jane in our Eternal Home already prepared for us. May God Bless and Comfort ALL of her family … especially her children Brad, Mark and Louann and her sister Louann. Our love to you all! Jim
